Plant Functional Biology and Climate Change Cluster

The Plant Functional Biology and Climate Change Cluster (C3) uses leading-edge technologies to measure and predict the structure, function and health of plant-based ecosystems to deliver actionable knowledge to solve our future climate change challenges.

A core group of expert plant physiologists, ecologists, biological and physical modellers, oceanographers and specialist remote sensing researchers work across the following Research Groups:

As well as giving decision makers greater confidence in scientists' predictions about climate change the outcomes from this vital research also provides an opportunity for the university, and wider community, to connect on issues and solutions relating to climate change.
